## Description

Scissortail Yarn and Fiber Mill is a brand dedicated to processing raw animal fleeces and creating high-quality yarns and fibers. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, they offer a wide range of products and services to their customers. As Norman's only local yarn shop, Scissortail Yarn and Fiber Mill not only sells yarns made in their own mill but also features yarns from popular manufacturers like The Alpaca Yarn Company, Cascade, and West Yorkshire Spinners. The brand was founded by Betsy Morehead, an attorney with a deep passion for fiber arts. Betsy's love for knitting, crocheting, and weaving led her to discover the art of spinning yarn in 2013. This sparked her interest in learning about fiber and the animals that produce it. Eventually, she started trading with fiber animal owners, processing their raw fleece and keeping a portion for herself as payment. With an extensive background in manual fleece processing and spinning, Betsy's knowledge and experience paved the way for the opening of Scissortail Yarn and Fiber Mill. Since its establishment, the mill has thrived, continuously striving to produce the finest quality yarns for their valued customers. For all your yarn and fiber needs, Scissortail Yarn and Fiber Mill is your go-to destination. Follow them on social media and visit their shop in Norman for a fibery happiness like no other.
