## Description

Segelclub Ibbenbüren Tecklenburger Land e.V. (SCITL) is a sailing club founded in 1974, based at the Ibbenbürener Aasee in Germany. Its clubhouse by the lake welcomes people of all ages, and sailing is at the heart of the club’s community. During the sailing season, members can use the club’s boats on the Aasee, making it easy to get out on the water and take part in club life.

SCITL supports sailors at different stages, with weekly sailing activities for children and young people and courses for several sailing qualifications. Its training includes the Sportbootführerschein for inland and coastal waters and the Sportküstenschifferschein. Members can also join regattas, including the 8-Seen-Regatta, as well as social gatherings and practical work days. The club’s calendar features activities such as winter sailing events and capsizing training. SCITL welcomes prospective members and visitors who want to learn more, try sailing, or enjoy time on the water with the club.
