## Description

Scituate Girls Softball of Rhode Island is a volunteer-founded organization dedicated to teaching fastpitch softball to girls in Scituate and neighboring communities. Founded in 2008, the program has grown from 30 players in grades 3–8 to more than 200 participants from kindergarten through grade 12 across six divisions. Its offerings include recreational softball, travel softball opportunities, fall ball, and clinics, giving players a range of ways to learn and participate. The organization shares registration information, available programs, schedules, team directories, standings, and field updates to help families stay informed. It also provides information about coaching and volunteer opportunities for community members interested in supporting the program. Scituate Girls Softball teams compete in events such as the USA Softball League Cup, with teams represented in the 10U and 12U divisions. Based in North Scituate, Rhode Island, the organization serves players and families through its website and social media channels, while promoting participation in the sport and building opportunities for young athletes to develop their softball skills.
