## Description

SCIWAY, which stands for the South Carolina Information Highway, is the largest and most comprehensive directory of South Carolina information on the internet. With over 50,000 links to other South Carolina websites and a vast collection of maps, charts, articles, and resources, SCIWAY aims to provide quick and easy access to information about South Carolina. Whether you're a resident, planning to move, or looking to vacation in the Palmetto State, SCIWAY has you covered. The website is organized by subject areas such as education, history, jobs, real estate, and tourism, and it strives to celebrate the unique people and places that make South Carolina special. Founded by Kerri Fitts and Robin Welch, both passionate about their home state, SCIWAY has been privately funded since 1997. They also collaborate with other platforms to document historical landmarks, provide information about accommodations, and showcase the state's captivating plantations. As a member of the Better Business Bureau, SCIWAY maintains high standards and continues to improve its services with user feedback and advertising opportunities.
