## Description

Scotchbriar Nubians is a family-run dairy goat herd in Holland Patent, New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Established in 1993, the farm raises American Nubian goats registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). Its breeding program aims to produce healthy, structurally sound, elegant animals with strong udders, good milk production, and calm temperaments. Scotchbriar goats compete in shows and are bred for performance in the milk pail; the herd includes does and bucks, with breeding and sales opportunities for prospective buyers.

The farm’s website features show and performance records, senior and junior does, bucks, reference animals, and information about breedings and sales. Scotchbriar reports annual CAE testing, CL-free herd status, and G6S-negative status verified by DNA testing or parentage. Goats have access to pasture and receive hay, minerals, and dairy goat feed, alongside routine health care. The owners welcome questions and work with buyers to identify animals suited to their herd-building goals.
