## Description

Scotiacon is Scotland's premier furry convention, celebrating its vibrant community and culture since its inception in 2011. Held annually at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Glasgow, Scotiacon has grown from a modest gathering of 50 attendees to a spectacular event attracting over 1,170 participants in 2024. The convention has a rich history of supporting charitable causes, raising thousands of pounds each year for various organizations, including the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust and Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue. Attendees can expect an exciting array of activities, from themed events and gaming sessions to engaging workshops and a bustling Dealers' Den. Each year features a unique theme, with past highlights including Disco Fever and Prehistoric Panic. Scotiacon is not just an event; it's a celebration of creativity, community spirit, and furry fandom. With plans for its 2025 convention titled Magical Mayhem, Scotiacon promises to deliver even more enchanting experiences for furries and enthusiasts alike. Join the adventure in February 2025!.
