## Description

Scout Therapy Staffing is a clinician-first travel therapy agency founded by physical therapists with firsthand experience of travel assignments. Based in San Luis Obispo, California, the company connects physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists with travel roles, while also serving facilities seeking reliable therapy coverage. Its placements include opportunities in outpatient clinics and private practices, hospitals and health systems, skilled nursing, and home health.

Scout emphasizes transparent, competitive pay and assignments its founders would consider themselves. The agency says it offers pay packages 10–15% above big-box agencies, along with 24/7 support from real clinicians, mentorship from licensed PT recruiters, and assistance with travel and license expenses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D coverage beginning in the first month, plus a 401(k) with a 4% employer match that is fully vested from day one. Direct deposit is weekly.

For facilities, Scout provides fast turnaround, fully vetted candidates, and ongoing placement support. Clinicians can browse open roles or submit a résumé to be considered for future matches.
