## Description

S.C. Padovani 1909 is a historic cycling organisation based in Padova, Italy. Founded in 1909, the same year as the Giro d’Italia, it celebrates 115 years of sporting heritage, including 11 Olympic medals and 14 world championship titles. The club combines its proud history with a commitment to developing the next generation of cyclists. Since its revival in 2012, it has promoted the sport through events and a pathway spanning youth categories, juniors and amateur cycling, while building toward competition at Elite-U23 level. Its events include the Giro del Veneto, held for professional riders for 83 editions through 2012, and the Granfondo Città di Padova, staged eight times between 2012 and 2021. Since 2023, the club has also organised the Giro del Veneto stage race for juniors, which has quickly gained international standing. Its current team, S.C. Padovani Polo Cherry Bank, holds a UCI Continental licence and fields 14 athletes, supported by an 18-person staff and eight vehicles.
