## Description

Persekutuan Seni Silat Pusaka Hanafi Malaysia is an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing Silat Cekak Pusaka Hanafi, a traditional Malay martial art. According to the federation, the style was practised by senior commanders of the Kedah kingdom during the reign of Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin II and was later brought back into prominence by its revered leader, the late YM Ustaz Haji Hanafi bin Haji Ahmad. The organization continues this heritage through silat instruction, a defined system of lessons, and a structured membership and teaching community. Its work also encompasses the history, principles, etiquette, official weapons, and governance of the art. The federation provides information about its leadership, educational lineage, activities, and contact channels, alongside news and event updates. Its achievements include a 2010 Malaysia Book of Records recognition for the largest silat performance, involving 7,356 participants, and further record recognitions in 2015 for a large silat lesson and women’s participation in a silat performance.
