# SCRAM Hide and Seek

- **Website:** <https://scramhideandseek.com>
- **Primary alias:** `scramhideandseek.com`

## Description

SCRAM is a real-life hide-and-seek app that turns neighbourhood streets into a playing field. Friends use their phones to organise rounds on foot, with players split into hunters and runners. The host sets the arena, chooses the rules and shares an invite link or game code. Runners get a head start to hide, while hunters receive periodic location pings rather than live tracking. Players tag runners in person, and the app confirms tags, keeps time and determines the winner.

SCRAM supports games of three to 70 players, with adjustable round lengths, ping intervals, head starts and play zones. Hosts can also enable a shrinking zone, and teams have private chat, including push-to-talk voice for hunters. Alerts keep players informed even when their phones are locked. Location sharing is limited to the round and follows role-specific visibility rules. The app is free to download and join; hosting requires a one-time purchase, with no subscription or ads.
