## Description

Scrap Soils™ is a mission-driven organization dedicated to reducing food waste and harmful greenhouse gas emissions in Detroit. If food waste were a country, its emissions would rank as the world's 3rd largest emitter. Scrap Soils aims to change this by making composting accessible for everyone. They offer convenient curbside food scrap pick-ups, starting in Fall 2023. With their weekly pick-ups, they transform your food scraps into nutrient-rich compost. They offer residential memberships for households looking to take their environmentalism to the next level and commercial memberships for businesses seeking a zero-waste approach. Additionally, Scrap Soils is actively seeking volunteers to join their Scrap Pack and help with compost making, youth education, and scrap collection. Support their mission and let's make Detroit composting! Contact Scrap Soils today to make a positive impact on our environment.
