## Description

Duikvereniging ScubaBoZ is an active, welcoming underwater sports club for scuba divers in Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding West Brabant and Zeeland areas. The club brings together beginners and experienced divers, offering year-round opportunities to train, dive and take part in events. From September through May or June, members train weekly at Zwembad de Schelp in Bergen op Zoom, while summer includes weekly dives. Club outings are arranged with attention to each diver’s experience and ability. Buddy pairs are matched to support safe diving, help members build confidence and skills, and ensure divers have a partner underwater.

People who have not yet earned a diving certificate can join an introductory dive, or learn to dive with qualified instructors through the club’s collaboration with ScubActivity. Training begins with a PADI Open Water certificate, with safety and enjoyment both emphasized; certified divers can join most club dives. Prospective members can visit a training evening, ask about membership, and take part in up to three swimming sessions without commitment.
