## Description

BUCCI is an Argentine automotive brand rooted in a family history of racing, engineering, and hands-on vehicle construction. Its story begins with Domingo Bucci, a mechanic and aviation enthusiast who opened a larger workshop in Morteros in 1922, applying aeronautical knowledge to the design and preparation of racing cars. He built vehicles for himself and other drivers, achieving numerous victories on Argentina’s circuits. His son Clemar continued the family’s motorsport legacy, competing in Argentina and Europe and racing with teams and marques including Maserati, Gordini, and Ferrari.

The Bucci name is also associated with original vehicle and engine development. Clemar designed the Bucci Special, a sports car with a front-mounted Alfa Romeo engine, as well as a sports-prototype car and a Formula 4 vehicle. The sports-prototype project featured a custom-built Ford-based engine with four camshafts, 32 valves, and fuel injection. BUCCI’s heritage reflects a blend of mechanical craftsmanship, motorsport preparation, automotive design, and competition engineering, shaped by generations of involvement in racing.
