Established in 1963, SDAA serves a diverse community of members who share a passion for the universe—whether they are amateur astronomers, educators, or casual stargazers. Through various programs and events, SDAA offers educational lectures, sky observing sessions, and workshops on telescope making and astrophotography. Their primary dark-sky observing site, Tierra del Sol, hosts regular public star parties, where visitors can look through club telescopes and partake in the wonder of the night sky. Additionally, the organization provides resources such as loaner scopes and a monthly newsletter to keep members informed about upcoming activities and celestial insights. With a mission to further public awareness and enjoyment of space sciences, SDAA invites everyone to join its community, fostering an inclusive environment for all who are fascinated by the mysteries of the cosmos. ## Industries - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UChfiYzHzW0vOtvgpe5ySDIg) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/search) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/san-diego-astronomy-association) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/sdastronomyassociation) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/San.Diego.Astronomy.Association) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhdcPGwLV/w/300/h/71/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780538378305) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhdcPGwLV/w/792/h/792/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780538378479) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cod Gray | #191919 | dark | | Brilliant Rose | #fb55ad | light | | Cadet Blue | #a9b8c3 | accent | ## Fonts - Noto Sans — asset _(google)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
