## Description

AI Singapore is a pioneering national program dedicated to enhancing artificial intelligence capabilities in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region. Central to this initiative is the Pan-SEA AI Developer Challenge 2025, a virtual hackathon that mobilizes developers, researchers, and innovators to create impactful solutions powered by advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) like SEA-LION. This challenge focuses on critical sectors including healthcare, finance, education, and the public sector, inviting participants to develop real-world applications that address local needs and foster regional scalability.

The SEA-LION project, a cornerstone of AI Singapore, represents a family of open-source LLMs designed to understand and cater to the unique linguistic and cultural diversity of Southeast Asia. By engaging with AI developers through mentorship, access to cloud resources, and the prospect of winning substantial prizes, the program aims to inspire innovation that drives Singapore's digital economy and empowers communities across the region. Join AI Singapore and be part of shaping the future of AI in Southeast Asia.
