## Description

"Save Our Sea" is a collaborative initiative aimed at addressing the pressing environmental challenges faced by the Baltic Sea. Launched by Tallinn, the European Green Capital of 2023, in partnership with Helsinki and the global movement Let’s Do It World, this project seeks to combat plastic pollution and litter along the Baltic shoreline. Kicking off on Baltic Sea Day, 31 August 2023, and culminating on World Cleanup Day, 16 September 2023, the program will involve a series of engaging activities designed to raise awareness and inspire action among coastal communities in several countries, including Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden.

Through hands-on cleanup events and educational initiatives, "Save Our Sea" aims to foster cooperation among cities surrounding the Baltic. By empowering residents to participate in preserving the sea’s ecosystems, the initiative promotes a culture of sustainable habits that benefit both the environment and future generations. Join the movement to ensure the Baltic Sea thrives with biodiversity and a cleaner, healthier ecosystem for all.
