## Description

Seapower Magazine is the official publication of the Navy League of the United States, an international organization that was founded in 1902 to support the U.S. This publication covers a wide range of topics related to national defense, foreign policy, naval affairs, maritime issues, homeland security, and defense research and development. It focuses on defense strategies, emerging technologies, and ways to improve the operational concepts and managerial processes of the U.S. Seapower's main mission is to educate Congress and the American people about the activities, requirements, and accomplishments of the sea services and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine. The magazine has been in publication since 1915, initially under the name Seven Seas, before being changed to Seapower in 1916 to better reflect the Navy League's mission. Reprint requests are welcome, and the contents of the magazine are copyrighted and the sole property of the Navy League of the United States.
