## Description

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the oldest no-kill rescue organization in Wake County, NC. Since 1987, they have been working tirelessly to rescue stray and abandoned cats and dogs in the Triangle Area of North Carolina. Their mission is to champion homeless animals and find them forever homes, while also promoting responsible pet ownership to reduce future generations of homeless animals. With a dedicated team of volunteers, they provide various programs and services to support their mission, including cat and dog adoptions, fostering opportunities, and special programs like Heeling Hearts for heartworm-positive dogs and Kitty Clip for feline spay-neuter. What sets Second Chance apart is their commitment to each animal they rescue, making a lifetime commitment and ensuring they receive necessary medical care and unconditional love. Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on the support of their extended family of supporters, volunteers, and other rescue groups to achieve their mission. Consider supporting them by donating, volunteering, or sponsoring an animal in need. Together, we can give these animals a second chance at a loving home.
