## Description

The Sectorraad Paarden (SRP) is a dedicated foundation that has represented the collective interests of the Dutch equine sector since its establishment on January 1, 2007. Acting as a vital liaison between the horse industry and the government, SRP unites various stakeholders, including sports, breeding, and entrepreneurs, to advocate for essential matters affecting the industry, including animal welfare, health, and economic policies.

SRP offers a range of services designed to support the horse sector, such as the Paardenwelzijncheck, a personalized assessment tool that provides insights and recommendations on horse welfare. They also contribute to national discussions on animal transport regulations during extreme weather conditions and are a valuable resource for best practices and guidelines within the equine community. Located in The Hague and Ermelo, the Sectorraad Paarden is committed to fostering a strong and sustainable horse sector in the Netherlands through collaboration and informed advocacy.
