SECU Family House is a brand that offers a safe, nurturing, and affordable home for patients and their loved ones who travel long distances to UNC Hospitals for life-saving procedures and serious illnesses. We understand the importance of providing a supportive environment during challenging times, which is why we offer lodging, meals, supportive programs, transportation, and a caring support network. Since our establishment in 2008, SECU Family House has served over 26,000 families from all 100 counties in North Carolina, as well as 44 other states and 7 foreign countries.

Our facility features 75 comfortable guest rooms, including the recently opened Pine Wing with an additional 35 rooms. We are proud members of The Healthcare Hospitality Network, Inc., an association of non-profit organizations dedicated to providing lodging and support services to patients and their families.
