## Description

The Sedentary Behaviour Research Network (SBRN) is a pioneering organization dedicated to exploring the health implications of sedentary behavior. Founded in 2011, SBRN serves as a bridge for researchers and health professionals involved in this critical field, promoting collaboration and sharing valuable insights with both the academic community and the public. The network curates an extensive database of sedentary behavior research and offers resources, including standardized questionnaires and international recommendations for school-related sedentary behavior.

SBRN membership is free, welcoming all professionals with an interest in the topic. The organization is led by prominent figures in health and research, including Dr. Mark Tremblay, a leader in obesity research, and Dr. Travis Saunders, who focuses on the impacts of sedentary behavior across various age groups. With a commitment to defining and disseminating knowledge about sedentary behavior, SBRN strives to enhance public awareness and advance health outcomes. Join SBRN to connect with a community dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by sedentary lifestyles.
