As the Abu Dhabi hub for inclusive research and best practices, SEDRA aims to remove socio-cultural, economic, and political barriers to full and equal participation in all aspects of community life. The foundation envisions the local community emerging by 2030 as a world-class sustainable model for an inclusive society.

SEDRA offers a range of services through its five key program areas: Education, Research, Awareness & Community Support, Family Support, and Employment. These services include educational courses, skills development trainings, guidance workshops, management consultancy, and specialized career guidance. SEDRA also provides resources for inclusive event organizing and conducts customized barrier analysis for organizations.
