## Description

The Sociedad Española de Entomología Aplicada (SEEA) is a Spanish scientific society dedicated to promoting the development of agricultural, forest and medical-veterinary entomology in Spain. It brings together people interested in applied entomology and is a member of the Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain (COSCE). The society supports the exchange of research and knowledge through the congresses it organizes, where participants can share their studies and discuss relevant topics. Its website provides information about the organization, its history, governance, membership and statutes, alongside news, events, employment opportunities and resources for public outreach. These resources include identification guides, entomology videos, a collection of photographs and an arthropod bank, with material contributed by members. SEEA also publishes a newsletter and offers members access to dedicated content, including photographs and society calendars. Visitors can learn about membership and its benefits, follow the society’s activities, and find links related to applied entomology. Through these activities and resources, SEEA encourages collaboration and wider interest in the field.
