## Description

Seeded is a startup based in Ames, Iowa, focused on making urban agriculture more accessible and helping people build greater self-sustainability through nature. The company combines new technologies with established growing techniques to turn overlooked spaces into productive places for food production and community building. Its approach is guided by four principles: lowering the costs of new practices, connecting urban areas with nature, producing more healthy food, and shortening the food supply chain.

Seeded offers at-home growing systems designed to provide food for individuals and families. These systems are described as having a small footprint, a simple setup, and quick production. Products and growing options include Gardyn hydroponic towers, microgreens, and shop kits. Seeded also provides education and resources to help people learn about its systems and growing practices. Through its offerings, the company aims to support practical food production at home while encouraging stronger connections between people, their communities, and the natural world. Seeded serves customers from Ames and can be contacted by phone or email.
