## Description

The Australian Seed Bank Partnership (ASBP) is a vital not-for-profit alliance dedicated to conserving Australia’s unique plant biodiversity through a collaborative network of germplasm collections. Comprised of 14 esteemed organizations including leading botanic gardens and environmental agencies, ASBP focuses on sustainable seed collecting, banking, and research. Their mission involves safeguarding Australia’s flora from various threats through initiatives such as the Seeds of Hope Project and the Rare Bloom Project™, aimed at protecting endangered species and promoting grassland conservation.

ASBP operates the Australian Virtual Seed Bank, a digital repository for seed collections and data, which supports informed restoration efforts. Their commitment to knowledge sharing strengthens biodiversity outcomes across the nation. With strategic goals outlined in their Annual Report and a robust research framework, ASBP engages communities and encourages public support through initiatives like the Grass Roots Giving Project and plant conservation webinars. By valuing and protecting native plant diversity, ASBP aims to ensure a rich ecological legacy for future generations.
