## Description

Heru develops virtual reality diagnostic software and devices designed to modernize eye examinations. Born out of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and built on more than 15 years of clinical research and development, the company serves eye care professionals seeking efficient, consistent testing without compromising clinical quality. Its flagship Heru Prime headset brings multiple diagnostic and pretesting functions together in a patient-friendly, hands-free platform. The system has been used to test more than 1.9 million eyes, and Heru reports 13 testing modalities, with additional capabilities continuing to develop.

Heru Prime features include visual field screening, visual acuity testing, cover testing, near testing, extraocular motility assessment, and quantitative pupil testing. PretestPro guides four pretests in about 90 seconds, while RealView provides video playback and bookmarks for selected examinations. EyeStream supports headset fit and alignment, and Firefly delivers an eight-point visual field screening test. Heru also offers clinical studies, product demonstrations, and online shopping.
