## Description

Seido Karate Bundoora is a Melbourne martial arts school offering traditional karate and self-defence classes for children and adults. Established on 12 June 2010, the Northern Suburbs dojo welcomes students of all ages and backgrounds, with training focused on developing physical fitness, mental abilities, confidence and respect. The school aims to provide a safe, supportive and family-friendly environment where students can learn and build friendships.

Instructors Senpai Gene and Senpai Mark Cortese bring decades of personal training experience and have taught at the Bundoora branch since its founding. Both hold the rank of fourth dan and continue their development through workshops, seminars, annual camps and training with senior Seido instructors. The school is affiliated with the World Seido Karate Organisation, which follows a structured syllabus developed under Grand Master Tadashi Nakamura.

Adult classes are held at Lower Plenty Senior Citizens Club, while children’s classes take place at Watsonia Community Hall. Seido Karate Bundoora provides timetable and enrolment information for prospective students interested in joining.
