# Seikoshabooks - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `seikosha-books.com` ## Description Seikosha is a unique independent bookstore situated in the heart of Kyoto, Japan. Founded by Atsushi Horibe in 2015, after years of experience in the book retail industry, Seikosha stands as a beacon for book lovers in a city where traditional bookstores are dwindling. The establishment sources books directly from publishers to ensure fair pricing and a diverse selection, fostering a connection between authors and the community. In addition to its carefully curated selection of books, Seikosha is dedicated to creating "spaces with books," collaborating with cafes, hotels, and event venues to enhance environments with thoughtful literary collections. The bookstore also engages in numerous projects, including writing, event participation, and public speaking, extending its influence beyond the conventional retail framework. With aspirations to inspire a new generation of bookstores across the nation, Seikosha not only caters to bibliophiles but also contributes to the cultural fabric of its community, aiming to restore the charm of local bookshops. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 🛍 E-commerce and Shopping ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/seikoshabooks) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9Kh0NEDM/w/800/h/293/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1748872553724) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Blaze Orange | #ff6900 | accent | | Tosca | #914641 | dark | | Bittersweet | #fb6962 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
