## Description

Sekinoichi Brewery is a family-rooted sake and craft beer producer in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, crafting beverages since its founding in 1918. Guided by the aim of making drinks that bring joy, the brewery combines local ingredients, clear underground water from the Ou Mountains and the expertise of Nanbu Toji brewers. Its Sekinoichi sake range includes classic styles and aged sake, made with varieties such as Yamada Nishiki, Gohyakumangoku, Toyonishiki and Ginginga.

Launched in 1995, Iwate Kura Beer offers eight regular varieties alongside seasonal releases, organic beer and custom-made brews. The brewery’s offerings extend beyond drinks: Kuramoto Restaurant Sekinoichi serves regional specialties, including mochi dishes with a selection of sauces, and the site accommodates weddings, banquets and events. Visitors can also explore a museum in a renovated historic storehouse, featuring brewing exhibits and more than 1,600 brewing tools, or arrange brewery experiences and tours. A café, direct sales shop and online store provide additional ways to enjoy the brand’s products and local food culture.
