## Description

Selfe Made Knives is the handmade knife brand of Matt Selfe, a custom knifemaker based in Kent, UK. Drawing on years of practical experience with knives and bushcraft, Matt designs and makes tools intended to combine strong performance, attractive finishes and straightforward care. His work focuses on two complementary fields: kitchen knives for cooks and chefs, and outdoor knives for bushcraft and wilderness use.

The collection includes chef’s knives, petty and nakiri knives, friction folders, slipjoints, paracord knives and other bushcraft designs. Products feature varied steels and handle materials, including San Mai, Damascus, carbon fibre, micarta, G10 and stabilised wood. Customers can browse knives available to buy or contact Matt to discuss commissioning a custom knife to their requirements. The shop also offers branded items such as PVC patches and a challenge coin.

Selfe Made Knives serves home cooks, professional chefs, bushcraft instructors and outdoor enthusiasts. Its designs are informed by Matt’s experience teaching bushcraft skills and testing knives in practical settings, with examples used by customers in the UK and internationally.
