## Description

Celport is a community-based employment support provider operating facilities in Suita, Osaka, and Nara, Japan. Its mission is to help people with disabilities participate in society, take steps toward employment, and build greater independence. Services in Nara include employment transition support, continuous employment support (Type B), and employment selection support; the Suita facility provides employment transition support.

Celport offers individualized programs shaped around each person’s needs, with one-to-one staff guidance and training in computer skills, office software, business etiquette, communication, and social skills. Participants can prepare for qualifications, with Celport covering examination fees for relevant certifications, and gain practical experience through contracted work, light tasks, handmade product production, and other activities. Support also includes workplace visits and placements, job searches, application and interview preparation, and assistance with staying employed after hiring. Peer supporters provide guidance informed by lived experience, while specialist consultations address disability pension applications and financial concerns. Additional offerings include lunch, telework training, farming activities, and animal-related events.
