## Description

**Semimaraton Brașov** is a premier running event held annually in Brașov, Romania, attracting both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic amateurs. Scheduled for April 12, 2025, the semi-marathon invites participants to race through the picturesque landscapes of the city, featuring a challenging 20 km route and a shorter 10 km course, both starting and finishing at the iconic Piața Unirii. In addition to the competitive aspects, the event promotes communal well-being through group training sessions, held every Sunday from November to April, led by experienced runners such as Adrian Iordache.

Beyond athletics, Semimaraton Brașov is committed to social responsibility, supporting various charitable causes with each edition. This year, they are taking significant steps towards environmental conservation by offering reusable cups in participation kits and eliminating single-use plastics. Attendees can also expect a tech partner providing value vouchers, and exciting prizes await winners. With a focus on camaraderie, health, and sustainability, Semimaraton Brașov not only challenges participants but also enriches the local community.
