## Description

Seminarwerk AIDS e.V. is a nonprofit association based in Aachen, Germany, dedicated to HIV and AIDS education, prevention, professional development, and the exchange of experience. Founded as an independent organization in 1993, it brings together perspectives from healthcare professionals, people living with HIV, community groups, and the wider public. Its work aims to protect the interests of people affected by HIV, challenge discrimination, support informed prevention, and improve cooperation among the professions involved in care.

The association organizes lectures, seminars, panel discussions, and facilitated small-group exchanges. It also prepares scientific information and practical materials for both professionals and interested members of the public. Topics include everyday and workplace prevention, psychosocial support, current AIDS research, HIV and drug use, sexuality, ethical questions, and healthcare policy. Activities are often developed with medical, university, church, or public health partners. Seminarwerk AIDS e.V. also shares event information through a newsletter and lists events and PREP counseling among its online offerings.
