## Description

SEN Parent Support Group is a UK-based organisation supporting parents, carers and guardians of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Founded by Andrea Dixon-Boldy, the group combines lived experience with professional knowledge to help families understand the SEND process and advocate for appropriate support. Its free Facebook community provides a welcoming place to ask questions, share experiences and connect with other parents. For more structured guidance, membership gives access to a resource hub with more than 450 practical materials, including template letters, step-by-step guides, timelines, blogs and videos. Members can also use tools such as the SEND Bible resource search, a SEN Support Tracker, an EHCP Draft Checker and tribunal case-management support. The organisation offers mentoring consultations, help with requests for EHC needs assessments, EHCP draft reviews and working documents, as well as CPD-accredited parent training across eight modules. Its guidance covers topics including SEND law, mediation, social care assessments and tribunal preparation.
