## Description

Serendipity Montessori is an AMI Montessori school in Zollikon, near Lake Zurich, offering bilingual English and German education and care for children from three months to nine years. Its approach is rooted in respect for each child, independence, and the joy of learning. Children explore at their own pace in prepared classrooms with Montessori materials and individualized learning pathways.

The school’s curriculum combines self-directed Montessori work with practical and creative experiences, including forest excursions, cooking, music and dance, and yoga. Children also spend time outdoors in a 450-square-metre natural garden with vegetable and zen gardens and a football field. Animals are part of the daily environment, supporting children’s care and connection with nature.

Serendipity’s head teachers hold early childhood degrees and AMI diplomas, and classrooms from 18 months onward are led by English- and German-speaking teachers. The school is certified by the Canton of Zurich and Association Montessori Schweiz, with its curriculum aligned to AMI standards and Lehrplan 21.
