## Description

SERES is a Portuguese association created by and for women living with or affected by HIV. It advocates for a fair and equitable life in which women with HIV have access to resources, a voice in decisions, personal choice, and meaningful opportunities. The organization works to increase understanding of HIV and challenge stigma and prejudice, while providing information intended to help people make informed decisions.

SERES offers educational content on HIV, including treatments, related health conditions, prevention, and living with the virus. Its website also features personal stories that give women space to share their experiences and perspectives. News and themed initiatives, including SHE, Conversas na Positiva, and the #PODERIASEREU campaign, help bring attention to issues affecting people with HIV. The association invites people to contact its team, volunteer, and make donations to support its work. Through information, advocacy, and first-person voices, SERES aims to promote greater awareness and a better quality of life for women affected by HIV in Portugal.
