## Description

Tokurasu is the public-facing initiative of the Setouchi City Relocation and Exchange Promotion Council, based in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. It introduces Setouchi City, a coastal community on the Seto Inland Sea, to people considering a move or seeking a wider connection with the area. Its website brings together practical information on relocation and long-term residence, including housing, employment, business succession, and available support programs and grants. It also shares guidance for remote workers, businesses considering opening an office, event organizers, and people interested in longer stays or creative projects in the city. Through renovation and DIY stories, Tokurasu offers examples of improving local properties, including traditional homes, for those exploring housing options or hands-on renovation. Videos feature the experiences of people who have moved to Setouchi and comments from IJU Concierges, support groups that assist prospective newcomers. The council also publishes materials and information about its projects, helping visitors understand local life and opportunities. Tokurasu presents Setouchi as a place for a fulfilling, comfortably rural lifestyle.
