## Description

Severn Glocon is a valve engineering and manufacturing brand serving energy industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, power and LNG. With a heritage of British engineering and around 60 years of experience, the company focuses on high-performance, bespoke flow-control solutions for demanding applications. Its products include control globe valves, choke valves, butterfly valves and actuators, designed to support reliable operation of business-critical infrastructure.

Beyond design and manufacture, Severn provides lifecycle services such as maintenance, valve management, testing, enhancement and re-engineering to extend product life. The company also offers technical expertise, training, documentation and customer support, helping operators address complex valve challenges, improve reliability and reduce the risk of costly downtime. Its case studies highlight solutions for issues including choke-valve vibration and water-injection performance.

Severn Glocon became part of Valmet in July 2026, bringing its severe-service flow-control expertise into Valmet’s offering. The brand emphasizes quality, reliability, safe operations and collaborative engineering, with products and services tailored to the needs of industrial energy customers.
