# SouthEastern Wisconsin Adaptive Ski Program - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sewasp.org` ## Description The SouthEastern Wisconsin Adaptive Ski Program (SEWASP) provides adaptive alpine skiing and snowboarding lessons for people with disabilities in southeastern Wisconsin and surrounding areas. Its mission is to make snow sports accessible through modified equipment and teaching techniques that support safe participation and as much independence as possible. Lessons are generally held at Alpine Valley Ski Resort near East Troy, Wisconsin, primarily on Thursday afternoons and evenings during the winter season, with some Saturday morning sessions. By reservation, participants receive instruction, adaptive equipment, and a lift ticket. SEWASP also welcomes volunteers, including instructors and community members who help run the program. Volunteer preparation includes dry-land clinics in October and November and on-snow clinics in December. The organization shares lesson information with athletes and provides updates on seasonal registration and training. Community members can learn about its work, adaptive equipment, lessons, and volunteer opportunities at events such as Snowvana in Milwaukee. Donations help SEWASP support its programs and equipment, including a new trailer prepared for the 2025–2026 season. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/61572568143157) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/sewasp.wi) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id4dQ_3ruE/w/899/h/154/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793783169639) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id4dQ_3ruE/w/150/h/150/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793783169741) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Portage | #9896f0 | accent | | Paarl | #a55928 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
