San Francisco AIDS Foundation is dedicated to eliminating HIV transmission and improving the lives of individuals living with HIV. They offer a range of services to achieve these goals, including direct services, public education, and advocacy. The foundation provides comprehensive HIV and STI testing, as well as access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) - highly effective HIV prevention medications. They also offer syringe services for safer drug use, counseling, case management, and support groups for substance use and HIV support. San Francisco AIDS Foundation focuses on serving specific communities most impacted by HIV, including people living with HIV, queer and trans individuals, people of color, gay, bi, and queer men, African Americans, Latinx individuals, women and femmes, people over 50, and people who use drugs and alcohol.
