## Description

SFV 1942 Dillenburg e.V. is a sports fishing club based in Dillenburg, Germany, welcoming local members and visiting anglers. The association manages four flowing waters with a combined length of 27 kilometres, as well as two ponds and two reservoirs covering approximately 20 hectares. Its waters include the Dill, Dietzhölze, Große and Kleine Driedorfer Talsperren, Laaspher Weiher, Rehbach, Schelde and Schwellengrund Weiher. The Dill, the river associated with Dillenburg, is highlighted for its attractive surroundings and opportunities to catch brown trout and grayling. Guest fishing permits are available for the Dill, and the club also shares information about annual permits and access to its waters. Beyond fishing, SFV 1942 organizes work parties such as shoreline clean-ups, supports a youth group, and posts updates on regulations, events and water access. Visitors can find information about local fishing shops, club membership, statutes and fishing rules on the association’s website, and may subscribe to its email newsletter for club news.
