## Description

Shadymist Kennel is a small, family-run breeder of AKC English Cream Golden Retrievers, based near Richmond, Virginia. The kennel raises its dogs and puppies in the family home, with access to a fenced, one-acre yard and daily interaction with other family dogs. Its approach emphasizes close attention, socialization, and early learning, using the Puppy Culture method and early neurological stimulation. Puppies are introduced to different sounds, floor textures, and obstacles, and begin basic manners and house-training before joining their new families.

Before going home, puppies are dewormed, receive their first DHPP vaccinations, and are microchipped with lifetime registration. Families also receive AKC registration, a medical history record, current food, a familiar blanket and toy, and guidance and resources for welcoming a puppy. Shadymist offers planned litters, available puppies, and information on contracts, pricing, and its warranty. The kennel accepts reservations for fall 2026 and 2027 litters and serves families in Virginia and other states.
