## Description

Shalini Austin is a talented self-taught metalsmith based in Stamford, UK, specializing in handcrafted copper jewellery, sculptures, and decorative homeware. Originally from New Delhi, India, Shalini's creative journey began in 2008 with wire-wrapping, inspired by her love for unique and affordable designs. She now predominantly works with sheet copper, creating an array of bespoke items including art jewellery, functional sculptures, and wall art using forging and enamelling techniques.

Shalini's passion for creativity extends beyond her craft. She is actively involved in community initiatives, co-founding ESC Artists to promote local artisans through pop-up markets and exhibitions. Additionally, she contributes to the Stamford Diversity Group to foster inclusivity in her community. Dedicated to her craft, Shalini welcomes commissions and collaborates with other artists, ensuring each piece is unique and reflective of her artistic vision. Discover her latest works through her online shop or at local shows, where creativity meets craftsmanship.
