Shan Hannadige is a Chicago-based design engineer whose work explores how people and computers meet. With a background in cognitive science from UC San Diego and a decade of experience, Hannadige helps organizations turn changing technology into useful products and systems. The portfolio features work across logistics, industrial product matching, healthcare AI, and social commerce, including projects for Truckstop Go, Grainger, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Basic.Space. Services center on collaborative problem-solving, product design and strategy, systems thinking, and human-centered design for software and AI workflows. Hannadige works with clients of all sizes, partnering closely to understand challenges and develop solutions, while mentoring design teams to strengthen their strategic capabilities. The site also presents independent experiments and tools, from a personal finance app and veterinary AI prototype to film-scanning workflows and a generative AI design critic.
