## Description

Shapes.inc is a collaborative platform designed to help friends, families, and other groups make plans and get things done together. Its group assistants, called shapes, work alongside people in a chat: they research options, offer recommendations, and help the group decide what to do. Rather than requiring someone to tag them for every task, shapes use their judgment to contribute proactively while learning from a group’s values and boundaries.

Groups can use Shapes.inc to plan trips and outings, find activities and restaurants that suit everyone, compare products, and work through shared questions. The platform also supports live quizzes, polls, and games, with friends able to join through a link without creating an account. For study and project work, shapes can create notes, plans, and answer keys as shareable files. Users can connect a computer and share its capabilities in a chat, and invite AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or ChatGPT to participate alongside the group.
