## Description

SHARE is an independent, volunteer-run information technology association serving professionals in enterprise computing, with a focus on IBM System z mainframe technology. Founded in 1955, the organization aims to support end users and the wider technology industry through education, professional connection, and industry influence.

SHARE offers learning through on-demand educational content, webcasts, technical publications, digital badging, and online discussions. Its in-person and online events bring members together with peers and subject-matter experts for technical education, networking, and collaboration. Members can also participate in online forums, access a member directory, join volunteer initiatives, and engage with communities such as Women in IT and SHARE Focus Areas.

The association publishes SHARE’d Intelligence, its official source of news and education on enterprise solutions, and provides opportunities for members to contribute stories and explore articles. SHARE also connects technology partners with an informed enterprise IT audience through partnership and sponsorship opportunities. Membership includes access to online communities, thought leadership, publications, event discounts, networking channels, and volunteer opportunities, supporting professional development throughout the year.
