## Description

The SHARE Center (Services for Human Advancement & Resource Enhancement) is a social service and advocacy organization serving inner-city communities in Lexington, Kentucky. Its mission is to mobilize people around community service while addressing residents’ physical and spiritual needs. Through free programs and practical support, the center helps individuals and families access essential resources and opportunities.

Its services include food assistance, a community food market and lunch program, a community garden, and free medical and dental clinics. SHARE also provides job referrals and offers its Day of Dignity program. Many of these services are featured in its free Saturday programs, which bring together food, health care, and garden activities. The organization also welcomes volunteers and accepts donations to support its work.

By connecting people with care, food, employment resources, and community support, the SHARE Center aims to help residents meet immediate needs and move toward greater stability. It is based on Georgetown Street and serves people seeking assistance in the Lexington area.
