## Description

Sharon Creech is a renowned brand known for her captivating and insightful books. Born and raised in South Euclid, Ohio, Sharon's upbringing with her lively family greatly influenced her writing. Her stories often draw inspiration from her childhood experiences, such as their summer trips to places like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Idaho. One remarkable trip, in particular, shaped her forever and became the basis for her book Walk Two Moons. Sharon's books are also infused with her love for Quincy, Kentucky, where her cousins lived on a picturesque farm. Quincy has been transformed into Bybanks, Kentucky, and appears in several of her books, including Chasing Redbird and Bloomability. Sharon's journey as a writer began in college, during her literature and writing courses, where she discovered her passion for storytelling. She started off writing novels for adults and eventually transitioned to writing predominantly for young people. Her critically acclaimed works include Walk Two Moons, The Wanderer, Love That Dog, and The Boy on the Porch. Sharon cherishes her time with her family, and the next best thing is crafting beautiful stories for her readers.
