## Description

Established in 1992, SHARP is a global scholarly society dedicated to the history and impact of print and communication. Members explore the evolution of manuscripts, ephemera, and digital texts, examining how print shapes societies while also considering the challenges of inclusion and exclusion in communication. SHARP values its publications, like the renowned journal Book History, which delves into the discipline's identity. The society fosters connections among researchers through its annual conferences, both in-person and online, striving for accessibility and diversity in participation. Additionally, SHARP prioritizes equity, diversity, and inclusion, actively working towards decolonizing book history and embracing all backgrounds and identities. Whether through scholarly journals or online newsletters, SHARP invites individuals to join in their scholarly endeavors and engage in the fascinating world of print and communication history.
