## Description

Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to putting an end to the addiction crisis in the United States. Founded by Gary Mendell after the loss of his son Brian to addiction, Shatterproof is committed to reversing the devastating effects caused by the disease of addiction. Their work encompasses transforming addiction treatment, ending addiction stigma, educating and empowering communities, and advocating for change. Through their efforts, they aim to provide addiction resources, raise awareness about the different types of treatment, and assist individuals in finding the right treatment options. Shatterproof also encourages people to give in memory of their loved ones and offers ways to honor their memory. By joining an event, giving donations, sharing personal stories, advocating for change, or volunteering, individuals can get involved and make a difference in the fight against addiction. Together, with the support of thousands of Americans, Shatterproof strives to bring about true change and end the addiction crisis in our nation.
